We're passionate about climbing, so we are constantly seeking to improve our range of products, and approach each new project with fresh eyes, trying to make it something unique, and in some way better than the last. We have constructed over 40 climbing walls in New Zealand and every one is different and designed to optimise the site, the user profile and the construction budget. We design and build walls to suit a range of different uses and different users. If you click on the pictures to the left you can check out the details on some of the projects we have been involved in. Its a good place to start, since it will give you a sense of what can be accomplished. We welcome enquiries at the earliest possible stage of a project, as this enables us to provide potential clients with useful overviews based on our considerable experience. This advice ranges from structural engineering, budgetting, design, capacity, equipment and risk management. Feel free to discuss your ideas with us by calling 021 938 439 or fill out our short Climbing Wall Enquiry Form to get things started ... simply click on the climbing hold below to open up the form. We also inspect and certify existing climbing structures. EN 12572:1999 is the accepted European standard for artificial climbing structures in New Zealand. Although it has not been instituted formally it is the established de facto standard. Operators of climbing walls in this country should ensure that their walls meet this standard. Naturally all Climbing Company walls fully comply. The EN Standard specifies stability of the structure; strength, position and critical dimensions of the belay / anchor points; and the impact strength of the surface. If you would like us to quote for the inspection, testing and certification of a wall please contact us at info@climbing.co.nz. If work needs to be done to bring your wall up to the standard, we will give you a quotation to do this. |
